- Lead English across school
- Teach engaging lessons for KS2 pupils
- Teach English across Year 6
- Ensure feedback from lesson observations, work scrutiny and analysis of assessment data supports staff development
- Monitor pupil progress
- Contribute to whole school development planning including CPD
- Be a Tutor for ECTs in school
- Have at least 3 years' teaching experience

The Governors and Headteacher of Harewood Primary School in Stockton on Tees wish to appoint an experienced and exceptional Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher with a specialism in teaching English who is willing to teach English across Year 6 to join our thriving team from September 2024.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and creative teacher, who is dedicated to inspiring a love of learning in our pupils.
You will need to have excellent communication skills, be collaborative in nature, and have a commitment to inclusive teaching practices.
The successful candidate must have the ability to support and work with the Headteacher and SLT in all aspects of school improvement with key responsibility to develop and sustain effective practice in Key Stage 2 and lead English.
