    We are currently recruiting a Tax Manager to join our successful Family Office & Private Client Compliance team.

    As a national practice our FO&PC team consists of 160 team members across the UK, led by 9 Partners and 16 Directors.

    We are a nationally run business with five core service areas:

    1. Transactions and Entrepreneurial Shareholders.
    2. Ultra-High Net Worth Individuals.
    3. International.
    4. Partnerships.
    5. Investigations and Enquiries.

    We work with a variety of high-net-worth individuals – from stakeholders in privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses, executives of multi-national firms, landed estates and senior members of private equity firms, who may be tax resident and/or domiciled in a range of jurisdictions. We also specialise in providing advice to Trusts and Estates, and Partnerships.

    What will you be doing?

    This is primarily a compliance role which entails managing relationships with our compliance clients, from high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurial clients to partnerships and providing high quality compliance services on a wide range of personal tax matters.

    More specifically, some of the responsibilities will include:

    • Ensuring the delivery of a high-quality compliance service to our clients
    • Reviewing the work of more junior team members and overseeing their performance and career development.
    • Managing a diverse portfolio of potentially complex clients and being able to correctly handle and report a wide range of tax matters including capital gains tax, income tax, international tax matters, and identifying opportunities to advise your portfolio of clients in relation to these taxes.
    • Demonstrating a commitment to accuracy and high quality with a commercial approach
    • Managing the end-to-end compliance process and adhering to and developing best practice procedures to ensure deadlines are met and risk managed appropriately.
    • Managing work in progress and ensuring prompt billing and cash collection.

    What will you need to do it?

    If you are a highly motivated qualified tax adviser/ accountant (ATT, CTA or ACA/ACCA) with experience of working in personal tax, then we'd love to hear from you.

    We recognise that there are also highly motivated individuals who are qualified though experience and may not yet be exam qualified and we are open to considering such individuals also.
