Energy Monitoring Officer.

Reporting to the Energy Manager, the Energy Monitoring Officer will work with the Energy Monitoring Team, Staffordshire County Council Corporate Property Team and the wider Entrust property department when required.

This role isvital to the function of the energy management team to contract manage water management to properties owned by our customers through the engagement and management of water retailers and wholesalers.

Description

  • Providing customer support across approximately 200 properties
  • Setting up customer water contracts
  • Approving payments of our customer's water bills
  • Carrying out water monitoring investigations via occasional sit visits, invoice/electronic records, or meter readings if analysis suggests unusually high consumption
  • Working with water waters suppliers ensuring payment and correctness of water invoicing
  • Maintaining records, resolving errors, and uploading paper and electronic invoices
  • Maintaining a good relationship with customers, suppliers, and service providers
  • Reporting progress and issues to customers on monthly basis

Profile

  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential due to writing and prioritising recommendations
  • Ability to develop, plan, deliver and monitor water reduction
  • Experience of working Energy/Water Management in a large multisite environment
  • Experience of Water Management Monitoring & Targeting software
  • Experience of effective energy/water management practices
  • Good knowledge of procurement for energy/water related services
  • Selfmotivated, confident, and able to work on own initiative with mínimal supervision
  • Good IT skills (Excel) and ability to adapt to a range of systems
  • Strong communication skill written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Retail Water Industry
  • Ability to work towards deadlines and show initiative, and work under pressure
