With a desirable portfolio of SME clients, the opportunity to join this accountancy firm in Sunderland presents great further development for an experienced Accounts Senior or Practice Accountant who is keen to work with larger businesses and regular client handling.

We are keen to talk with either Qualified, finalists or qualified by experienced Accountants with a minimum of 3 years experience producing statutory year end accounts who is ready to take on more responsibility and support the Management team.

With strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation you will be looking after a small client portfolio at the same time as overseeing the work produced by the trainees, reviewing accounts and workflow.

Your experience will help to develop more junior members in the team as they follow in your learning footsteps.

This might be the first step into supervisory or you may already be comfortable at this level but just feel ready for a change.

The office environment has a very friendly, relaxed and laid back feel, the staff work hard but also like to have fun and enjoy each others company.

The position is predominantly office based for the benefit of working as an inclusive team, however there is flexibility when needed and you can alter your start and finish times if required.
