We are looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer, who can take pride in enhancing the developer experience of our speech products and making that best in class. This is a challenging and rewarding position where you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge AI innovation.

You will work with some of the smartest minds in the industry, on bleeding -edge projects and innovative solutions, using the latest technologies. Our DevX Teams contributions play a pivotal role in determining how AI-driven features materialise and set the foundational standard for the plethora of new products that are emerging.

What you'll be doing:

• Engaging in cross-functional teams occasionally, overseeing features from ideation to deployment.
• Contributing to our front-end code; developing features that are well architected, tested and meet our users' needs.
• Engaging with the team through code reviews, discussions, mentoring, pairing and other collaborative exercises.
• Progressing ourMonorepoby consolidating code duplication in a maintainable way.
• Integrating Design System foundations through shared components, CSS, etc.
• Championing engineering best practices and uphold code quality standards.
• Improve our public GitHub SDKs, sample code, reference apps and API docs.
• Craft demos that bring to life new cutting-edge AI features.
• Learn new technologies and work with our wider stack that includes, Go and Python, although that is not a requirement.

Who we are looking for:

• Great communication skills, someone who enjoys documenting and communicating verbally.
• Enjoy discussing engineering problems/solutions and be open to changing your opinion.
• Uphold web standards, recognizing the value of semantic HTML.
• Passionate about building inclusive products.
• Good understanding of the JS ecosystem, NPM, build tooling.
• Experience working with REST APIs and a good understanding of how network events affect UX.
• Experience in all things React,NextJS, CSS and Typescript.
• Good knowledge of automated testing and best practices around that.
• Curious about AI and about how our technology can change lives for the better.
