HSE Advisor

London (South)/ Hybrid

£30-£40k


A leading commercial cleaning company in South London is hiring a experienced HSE Advisor to ensure compliance safety and environmental awareness within our clients sites and to ensure our employees have a safe working environment.


The role is a mixture of office based and field based work along with a hybrid work from home element.

Most clients are in the London area.


As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance within our organisation.

Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining HSE standards, conducting audits, and driving continual improvement. If you are passionate about creating a safe and sustainable work environment, we encourage you to apply.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Compliance and Standards:
  • Deliver the implementation and compliance of HSE vision and strategic approaches, including management standards (such as ISO 9001, 45001 and ISO
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics.
  • Audits and Inspections:
  • Conduct regular HSE audits at client sites.
  • Ensure compliance with prevailing standards set in the Audit Program.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess risks associated with our operations.
  • Collaborate with site staff and management to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Maintain accurate records related to health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Present statistics, reports, and updates to colleagues, including senior management.

Qualifications:


  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in health, safety, or environmental management.
  • NEBOSH General or equivalent level
  • IMEA/NEBOSH Environmental
  • Internal Auditor to: ISO 9001,
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the utilities, engineering, or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You should live in London area.

Salary:

The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £40,000 annually.
