Route Co-Ordinator

Southampton

A vacancy has arisen in our Southampton intermodal route team for a Route Co-Ordinator based at Southampton.

Reporting to the Commercial Resources Manager, you will co-ordinate daily rail bookings, maximising rail capacity. The successful applicant will be responsible for all intermodal rail planning functions.

You will plan rail services ensuring bookings are allocated to our daily train departures, deal with export restitutions and co-ordinate the planning of our services from third party terminals.

All applicants should be methodical in their approach, possess good communication skills, and be computer literate, self-motivated and work to departure cut-off deadlines.

The successful applicant must also be flexible in their working hours, as shifts including evenings will be required to cover the business needs.

We are looking for the most committed and reliable individuals who possess the knowledge, skills and experience needed for their roles.
