Description

As a leading provider of agronomy services, technology and strategic advice, Agrii Logistics and Supply Chain team includes over 200 employees working across 35 depots covering the whole of the UK. The team work closely with our Commercial and Sales teams to ensure delivery at the right time and place to our customers. Alconbury operate 24hours a day from our 10,000 pallet NDC warehouse.
We are currently looking to recruit
Warehouse Operatives on 6-month fixed term contracts.

The main responsibilities will include:

Picking and preparing orders for despatch to our customers and depot network
Goods In operation
Load and unload vehicles (Transits
Class 1)
Locate stock in the warehouse
Housekeeping
Assist the other operations and departments as required.

Skills required:

Power Pallet Truck experience.
Experience of working in a warehouse or similar environment along with working unsociable hours.
A certain amount of physical activity is required including lifting and carrying.

Advantageous Skills:

Counterbalance and/or Reach Fork-Lift Truck experience (with valid certification)

The role offers 40 hours per week starting at 10.30pm until 7.00am - Sunday to Thursday, there will be a requirement to work additional overtime hours on a Friday evening as required, on a rota basis (paid - time plus half).
