    About the role

    An exciting opportunity now exists to join the School Management Support (SMS) Team in Nottingham Business School, based at the City Site. The SMS Team provides a comprehensive support service to members of the School Executive Team.

    The preferred candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced management support environment, ideally within the Higher Education sector. The post involves working with a large range of internal staff across a number of departments, and a variety of external contacts, so excellent communication skills are essential, and the post-holder will be expected to quickly understand and maintain knowledge about the School.

    The successful candidate will have experience of using Microsoft Office packages, particularly functions of email and calendar management, as well as the ability to prioritise their own/the teams workload. They will have strong organisational, administrative and customer focused service skills with a focus on problem solving and high performance. The post requires an ability to respond positively to all aspects of change and to be effective in changing situations.
