We are assisting a leading insurance broker who have gone through an exciting period of growth over the past 5 years which has seen them go from having one established office in the North West, to 10 across the UK.

Due to this growth and a recent restructure of their claims department they have an opportunity for a Claims Executive to cover the North West region.


The role will support two offices, working closely with Account Executives, Claims Handlers, the Claims Manager and the Claims Operations Manager to ensure a high level of service is provided to existing and new clients.


Key Duties:

  • Focussed on client relationships, insurer relationships and producing and presenting claims MI to clients
  • Working closely alongside the Account Executives, Account Handlers and Claims Team
  • Forming and maintaining relationships with key client personnel
  • Undertaking full process and risk management reviews
  • Making recommendations for additional spending on risk management (i.e. camera systems)
  • Identifying additional risk transfer opportunities and liaising with Account Executives accordingly
  • Working with client's on claims defensibility, best practise and risk improvement measures
  • Conducting claims data analysis, creating meaningful reports and presenting to clients
  • Undertaking claims cleansing exercises and producing reports for marketing purposes
  • Providing technical support Claims Handlers in respect of large, complex losses
  • Repudiation reviews and challenges

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in commercial claims, ideally within Property, Motor and Liabilities
  • Time spent as a Claims Handler, Claims Manager or Claims Executive is essential
  • Ability to confidentially and professional attend meetings with new and existing clients
  • Knowledge of Acturis is desirable
  • Ideally Cert CII qualified or working towards


On offer is a salary from £40,000 to £48,000, a car allowance, an annual bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, private medical, life assurance and support for CII qualifications.
