    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Associate at Tamar Capital located in London. The Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the team in analysing potential investments, conducting due diligence, monitoring performance of existing investments, and developing financial models. The Senior Associate will also participate in meetings with potential partners and stakeholders. This role is integral to our investment process and requires strong proficiency in financial modeling, due diligence, and communication across a variety of investment areas, including real estate, private equity, and venture capital.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough due diligence for investment opportunities, particularly in real estate, private equity, and venture capital (both direct investments and funds).
    • Perform advanced financial modeling to evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks, and forecast financial outcomes.
    • Serve as a primary representative of Tamar Capital in professional interactions with founders, investment funds, and other entities.
    • Prepare and present detailed investment memos to the Investment Committee, providing analysis, opportunities, and risks.
    • Monitor and report on current investments, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure comprehensive analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities.
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in key investment areas.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related field.
    • Strong financial modelling skills and prior experience in financial analysis
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in professional environments.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field is preferable
