Empower Fostering is a small Independent Family Run Fostering Agency based in Taunton and operating across the southwest region; covering a catchment area from Bristol to Plymouth. We have been rated 'Good' in our last Ofsted inspection and the level of support to foster carers has been acknowledged. We are committed to providing bespoke packages that enable children to be placed in high quality caring foster homes. Requirements
What you need You will need to be a caring, resilient, and adaptable team player. It is important that you are a positive and motivated individual. These are bank roles offered on a Casual Worker's Agreement, for people who have a passion to make a difference. All training will be provided and we are proud to offer an induction programme to enable you to settle into the role. Previous experience within a support work role with children, young people & families would be advantageous, along with NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Residential Childcare qualification. However, this is not essential entry criteria for this role. Driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
