The Finance Project Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Group Partnership Accounting Team with a specific project related to the Firm's partnership accounting for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, as well as ad-hoc support for other Group Finance teams.


The role is an opportunity to learn more about partnership accounting within a market leading Global Finance function and there is scope to progress your finance career at the Firm.


Location Overview:
Manchester

The Freshfields Global Centre provides both business and legal services to the firm.

Our services are delivered in a way which supports the global nature of our firm and our clients, enables our fee earners to deliver exceptional service to our clients and to do that in a way which is efficient and effective.

Key responsibilities and deliverables- Managing bank forms and documentation to ensure a smooth internal approval process- Ability to keep internal project databases up to date and accurate- Posting of accounting entries into the finance system in relation to the project- Correspond with the banks and other external stakeholders regarding project documentation and queries- Communicate with internal stakeholders, at all levels, ensuring regular and timely updates are provided and queries are dealt with in an efficient manner- Working as part of a larger team to meet both internal and external project deadlines

Key requirements- A professional services background is preferred;- Interest in working or experience of working in a Global Finance Function- Confident when communicating with colleagues at all levels;- Methodical and proactive approach to problem solving;- Excellent attention to detail;- Must be a team player;- Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
