Are you passionate about engineering and committed to shaping the next generation of engineers? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a full-time Engineering Tutor to join a reputable college in Hull.

This exciting position offers a 35-hour per week booking, with competitive payment ranging from £25 to £40 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Duties of an Engineering Tutor include:

  • Delivering engaging and informative lessons in various aspects of engineering.
  • Providing oneonone support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding and skills.
  • Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and learning experience.

Requirements for the role:


  • A PGCE or Cert Ed qualification is essential.
  • A passion for engineering and a desire to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous teaching experience or industry experience in engineering is desirable but not essential.

Working with Tradewind:


  • Possession of a DBS on the update service (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • Providing at least 2 appropriate references.
  • Submission of a CV with full career history.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.


Located conveniently in Hull, the college is easily accessible via public transport from all areas, and there's a small on-site car park available.

In case the on-site parking is full, a large nearby car park is accessible, with the cost reimbursable in wages.
