The Business
UK Finance Manager, Northumberland, Competitive

NIgel Wright have been exclusively appointed to support a growing SME with the recruitment of a UK Finance Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Day to day running of the UK Finance function involving support and execution across all areas of Finance and appropriate administration activities
  • Driving improvements and enhancements in systems and processes across the Finance function
  • Oversight and performance of key control account reconciliations
  • Ownership of the inventory control and reconciliation process across the business for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Ownership of revenue to fulfilment reconciliation and control
  • Review and manage standard costing mechanisms across the business
  • Oversight of the credit control function including the management and reporting of KPIs
  • Oversight of the Sales Promotion process including the management and reporting of KPIs
  • Oversight of finance administration activities including Payroll and PAYE/NI reporting, VAT, Management of benefits
  • Ownership of Treasury function
  • Preparation and issuing of departmental budgets

Criteria
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Strong Excel skills and/ or ERP experience.
Manufacturing experience would be ideal but not essential.
Interest in FP&A would be beneficial.
