CNC Turner

Salary £Neg (dependant on experience)

Location:
Witham

Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm
Our client an Engineering Company based in Witham are looking for a CNC Turner to join their team.


Day to Day duties for the CNC Turner:

  • Planning machining by studying works orders
  • Programming, setting and operating CNC machines.
  • Machining parts.
  • Creating programs using CNC lathes
  • Reading and understanding drawings
  • Working with close tolerances, using a variety of materials.
  • Quality control
  • Following Health and Safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised working area
  • Documenting and communicating work completed
  • Resolving any issues that may occur.

Skills/experience required for the CNC Turner:

  • Time served engineer (at least 2 years within turning)
  • Must have experience on Mazak and Fanuc based machines
  • Ability to follow technical drawings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Experience on Hypermill Camware or similar is preferred but not essential
