- Cover Supervisors must have a degree or Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification - and / or have experience in a classroom, tutoring or training environment
- Teachers should be qualified with QTS or QTLS status
- Have exceptional classroom management skills and confidence to stand up in front of groups of pupils
- Be flexible, punctual and reliable
- Have your own car / transport, or live locally as bookings are often last minute
- Have a current enhanced DBS check (we can apply for one of these for you if you do not currently hold one)

Description
Essential Education are currently looking for Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to join their busy agency We have excellent relationships with a number of popular secondary schools in Bury and Bolton, and are always looking for enthusiastic new staff to work with them.
Supply work involves covering for absent teachers on a day to day basis. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set work to classes and ensuring the classroom remains positive and productive throughout the lesson. You may be asked to cover any subject across the curriculum, but specific subject knowledge is not essential.
