We're looking to hire a Head of Bid Management to lead the bid function and team.

You'll mainly be focused on tracking, managing, and producing complex multiple million-pound bids across Public Sector and other key verticals.

Job Description:


As the Head of Bid Management, you'll:

  • Manage a team of 7 Bid Managers from a broad range of experience levels. Assign projects, providing oversight and quality control for all deliverables and manage skill development tailored to the individual.
  • Own the endtoend bid process from PQQ/RFI stages through tender submission and final presentation.
  • Actively collaborate and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure quality, timely and effective bids e.g., Presales & Technical SME's, Marketing, Portfolio and Practice Leads, Delivery and Project Managers
  • Review and evolve best practice, processes, and initiatives to build an efficient bid department. Maintain documentation, identifying resource requirements, risk registers and postbid documentation.
  • Strengthen partnerships with wider commercial team, finance, and delivery to promote and integrate the bid function capability.

Qualifications:


To be successful in this career you'll:

  • Demonstrate your dedicated experience within bid management or similar role within a commercial team. Multiple projects, tight deadlines, time management and prioritisation will feel natural to you.
  • Understand and successfully navigated the complexities and nuances of UK public sector bids.
  • Show have you've operated in a consultancy, IT services, technology solutions or managed service environment.
  • Exhibit your communication and interpersonal skills and how you engage individuals at all levels within an organisation internally and externally.
  • Currently (or previously) acted in a leadership role and promoted a good culture, empathy and be able to engage and motivate teams.
Additional Information

Version 1 are flexible, and this career can operate remotely.

Members of the existing bid team are spread across different locations throughout Great Britain, Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland.
