A world leading construction consultancy with a dedication towards providing exceptional H&S and CDM Services for large scale construction projects in London, are looking to bring on an additional Principal Designer and CDM Consultant to work with theiralready existing likeminded CDM team.
This exciting work opportunity would suit someone looking for a full time role within a large consultancy environment to further grow and develop within.
The role of the Principal Designer / CDM Consultant
As the successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant your duties will include:
- Ensuring the compliance of CDM2015 regs from project conception to completion
- Carrying out design risk analysis, ensuring designers are aware of potential H&S construction hazards.
- Piece together preconstruction information for designers and contractors
- Carrying out site risk assessments
- Approving Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans
The Successful Principal Designer should ideally hold the following:
- Ideally GradIOSH with Level 6 Diploma
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- APS Membership preferred
- Minimum 3 x years' experience assuming a CDM focused role
