Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Analysis and Governance, the Manager takes responsibility for a swift and effective resolution of contractual issues and working to ensure that their interests are protected and their risks managed, while maintaining positiverelationships with counterparties.
The Contracts Manager - They will deal directly with the commercial teams at universities in the UK and abroad, public bodies, commercialsponsors and charitable foundations.
They will be able to build their knowledge and understanding of best practices and key risks in funded research and big data analysis.
By helping them fund and deliver its research programme, the Contracts Manager - Theyhelp make a difference to millions of low- and moderate-income savers, and contributes to a programme with a strong reputation and high profile across the public policy community and pensions industry.

The key skills they are looking for are:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and data sharing agreements
- Managing and prioritising across a portfolio of contracts
- Understanding of data protection and intellectual property law
This is a permanent role with a salary of £48,000-£54,000 (pro rated)

Their work builds on their well-established research programme and access to a unique body of data.Together their team of 11 deliver an ambitious programme of research, publications and events, sharing best practice, both nationally and abroad.
Whilst they are a business unit of their Corporation, they are responsible for raising their own operating budget through sponsorships, grants and in-kind support from organisations with similar research interests, goals and values.
By working in partnership with industry, academics, innovators and policymakers, and sharing their research widely and freely, they're generating insights that could improve the retirement outcomes of millions of savers worldwide.
