This culture is built upon the foundation of our safety management system, rigorous risk assessment and mitigation and a process of continuous improvement.

We are ISO 45001 accredited, and work to GWO (Global Wind Organisation) standards globally.


To ensure that we continue to foster & develop our already established safety culture, we are now looking for a QHSE Coordinator to join our team here at ONYX Insight.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop our global safety management system
  • Maintain and review risk assessment documents and processes
  • Manage our policy and procedure framework and document management system
  • Coordinate our ISO & Achilles accreditation programmes
  • Address nonconformances and complete management reviews
  • Coordinate our incident reporting process
  • Carry out investigations and implement learning
  • Maintain our engineering training and certification program
  • Monitor and deliver our subcontractor risk management processes
  • Support commercial bids/tender processes
  • Complete new staff inductions and training
  • Undertake DSE assessments
  • Coordinate our safety observation programme
  • Chair and coordinate our safety committee
  • Coordinate training and support for our MHFA and FA networks
  • Develop and deliver engaging training resources and communications materials
  • Produce reports and analysis to a good standard

Person Specification

  • Recognized institutional membership/qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience of working within a structured safety management system environment
  • Good document management and policy development skills
  • Ability to draft clear, accessible and compact policy and procedure documents
  • Understanding of risk, and a systematic approach to assessment and mitigation
  • ISO accreditation and audit process knowledge
  • Systematic approach to managing safety risk and systems
  • A strong communicator and relationship builder; good stakeholder management skills
  • Pragmatic and flexible approach willing to roll sleeves up
  • Understanding of how organizations create a strong safety culture
  • Exposure to commercial/customerfacing environments
  • Understanding of engineering project delivery

Please note this role is based in Nottingham (NG7) and you will be required to be on site 3 days a week.
