    Process Safety Engineer (Manufacturing)

    As a Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of manufacturing processes through risk assessments, PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and root cause analysis.

    Your expertise will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential hazards, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within our manufacturing operations.

    Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of manufacturing processes to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and prioritize safety measures.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to incorporate safety considerations into manufacturing processes and workflows.

    Perform root cause analysis of safety incidents, near misses, and process deviations to identify underlying causes and implement corrective actions.

    Design and implement safety protocols, procedures, and controls to minimize risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
    Provide technical expertise and guidance on process safety issues, including hazardous materials handling, chemical reactions, and equipment safety.
    Conduct safety audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities to identify potential hazards, evaluate safety practices, and recommend improvements.
    Develop and deliver safety training programs for manufacturing personnel to enhance awareness, knowledge, and adherence to safety protocols.
    Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in process safety to continuously improve safety performance.
    Collaborate with regulatory agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders to address safety-related inquiries, concerns, and requirements.
    Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
    Proven experience in manufacturing process safety, risk assessment, and hazard analysis, preferably in a regulated industry.
    Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA, HSE, and NFPA.
    Experience with conducting PFMEAs, HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), and other risk assessment methodologies.
    Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques, such as fishbone diagram, 5 Whys, and fault tree analysis.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address safety-related issues.
    Certification in process safety, such as Certified Process Safety Professional (CSP), is a plus.
