    Description

    We are searching for a Scrub Practitioner to join a Theatre in a Private Hospital located in Leicester. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per year along with various benefits and a fully funded Surgical First Assistant course. It's a full-time position.

    As a Scrub Practitioner, your responsibilities will involve assisting in specialities such as General surgery, ENT, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Plastics, Ophthalmology, and Urology.

    During your initial weeks in this Scrub Practitioner role, you can anticipate:

    • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
    • Executing scrub duties following established policies, enhancing quality control, and promoting evidence-based practice.
    • Conducting all tasks professionally, including necessary surgical examinations.
    • Managing surgical instruments and medications for different procedures.

    To qualify for this position as a Scrub Practitioner, you must be a Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or an ODP with an active HCPC pin. Additionally, you should have:

    • Demonstrated experience in operation theatre with relevant scrub procedures.
    • Proficiency in general scrub and circulating skills across different patient cases.
