Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team at Wood Innovations.

As Junior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in supporting the B2B marketing efforts by creating visually appealing content tailored for our business clients.

Your designs will be instrumental in attracting customers, enhancing brand awareness, and driving sales.

With your tech-savviness and intuitive nature, you will bring fresh ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns and create impactful visual content.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:


  • Create innovative designs for marketing campaigns across online and offline channels, ensuring they align with our brand guidelines and effectively communicate our messaging to our clients.
  • Articulate packaging artwork briefs to multiple suppliers, ensuring clear communication of design requirements and specifications.
  • Develop impactful design solutions for packaging, working within brand guidelines to create visually appealing and functional packaging designs for our flooring products.

Other Duties

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and contribute ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Support the marketing team in executing various marketing initiatives and projects.
  • Assist in the maintenance of brand guidelines and ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and marketing.
  • To work effectively with other teams and departments.
  • Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to provide necessary assets for digital campaigns and ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design process.

Person Specification

Technical Competencies

Essential
Graphic/Multimedia Design degree or similar

  • Graphic/Multimedia Design degree or similar.
  • Proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Technical knowledge of commercial print processes, both Litho and digital, to ensure design compatibility with printing requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in design work.
  • Excellent time management skills, allowing for the successful execution of multiple projects at once.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a team and liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics, design principles, and trends in graphic design.
  • Understanding of branding and the ability to create designs that adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Experience and skill in creating visually compelling and effective brochure designs.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Selfmotivated and able to drive projects forward autonomously.

Desirable

  • Additional certifications or qualifications in graphic design or related fields.
  • Basic animation/video editing skills, enabling the creation of dynamic visual content.
  • Have full driving licence and access to own car.
