Here at Leeds Building Society we have a fantastic opportunity for you to start your mortgage career with us as a Mortgage Assessor which could lead to you completing your CeMAP accreditation, an industry recognised qualification.

As a Mortgage Assessor you will be the voice of Leeds Building Society, providing guidance on our mortgage products and services, helping our customers buy their own home.

This is a telephone-based role where you will be required to build rapport and trust with your customers.

As a Mortgage Assessor you will be responsible for assisting our customers with all of their initial mortgage enquiries, which will include conducting Agreement In Principle appointments (establishing mortgage criteria eligibility & affordability) for residential mortgage customers, prior to them receiving advice from a qualified Mortgage Consultant.

In this role you will be based at our Cobal Office just 10 minutes from the vibrant city of Newcastle.

Previous work experience essential, experience within a regulated environment preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
