VEDA's Middlesbrough office is looking for Civil CAD Technician to join our infrastructure team.

A right candidate will be able to/Have experience in:

• Develop concept ideas into drawing details
• Develop and draft engineering drawings – General Arrangements, Longitudinal Profiles, Details
• Be responsible for ensuring delivery of drawing work to agreed project programmes
• Mentor and train junior staff
• Assist the BIM & CAD Manager in implementing new workflows, procedures and standards within the business
• Assist with the production of BIM & CAD Libraries
• Deal with suppliers/3rd parties
• Set up Preconstruction Surveys – topo, ground investigation etc.

The Civil CAD Technician will play an important role in the delivery of infrastructure projects. You will be working on a variety of trenchless works schemes utilising 3D design software such as Civil 3D & Boreaid to produce engineering design solutions.

Experience (training can be provided) –

• Autocad
• Boreaid
• Civil 3D
• Navisworks
• Revit
• Demonstrate an understanding of trenchless works construction and methodology (HDD, Auger bore, Microtunnelling)
• Previous experience working with a civils design team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
