Job purpose: Support a 48 year old lady living with FND (Functional neurological disorder) and struggles with walking and speech, with everyday tasks and days out.
Location: Methwold Hythe, IP26
Details: - Food Preparation- Make lunch and dinner - Personal Care- Help wash hair and body - Days out- Collect medication, attend medical appointments, and go out for a drive to get out the house. - Housework - Whole home, dusting, hoovering, general cleaning tasks. Person Specification: Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. Assessment of these, both on application and at the interview, will be the main factor in determining your success.
Essential: - Reliable - Flexible - Full UK Driving licence - Use of their own car for work purposes Desirable: - Experience/qualifications in this field - First Aid trained
Summary Terms and Conditions
The rate of pay for this position is £11p/h.
Hours and times of work as follows: 17hrs a week (days and times to be discussed at interview)
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 3 months.
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. - If this job requires;
