We have two brand new CNC lathes being delivered later this year and we're looking to hireone moreCNC Turner Setter/Operatorto join ourtwilight / night shift as we grow.
Now that our newest member of the team is going through their training programme, we're ready to take on an additional CNC Turner Setter Operator to join our small but growing night shift team.
We're ready to give you any training you might need ahead of our new machines arriving so that you're ready when they arrive.
About the job - CNC Turner Setter Operator
Working on the premises of a well-established precision engineering business, your skills and experience as a CNC Turner Setter Operator will be just what we're looking for to fulfil an important role in the manufacturing of high quality, premium precision engineered components which are supplied to important customers across the globe.
This is no ordinary CNC Turner position.Jobs don't come up here very often.
People are happy, pay is good, the management team are encouraging, the quality of the products being produced is very high indeed and the working environment is modern, smart and clean.
Your duties as our new CNC Turner Setter Operator will include amongst other things
Reporting to your new manager, your job will see you producing precision engineered component parts mostly made from aluminium and stainless steel.
You'll join an already well established and supportive team where you'll be welcomed and given all the support you need to settle in and to get up to speed in your new job.
This is a very important role which will suit you if you take a pride in your work and you like to produce high quality products that you know will be put to good use.
As you're making them, you'll know that the components you're creating will go on to improve, and often even save someone's life.
Job Title: CNC Turner Setter Operator
Location: Tewkesbury
Essential requirement for this job: CNC Turning setting and operating experience
Working hours: 39 hours per week, twilight / night shift, four nights per week Monday to Thursday
Salary: as a guide, we're looking to pay between £35,500 - £38,000 + lots of overtime available, please let us know your salary requirements and we will do our best for you
Benefits: Very good salary plus formal pay review every year, starting holiday allowance of 24 days (holiday allowance increases with length of service)
Contract type: permanent contract from day one
Commutable from: Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Twinning, Bishops Cleeve, Evesham, Worcester and surrounding areas
