    The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator.     Due to the secure nature of the programme/role, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through National Security Vetting to obtain this clearance.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    Our programme is seeking network engineers with knowledge of both traditional and software defined Networking and experience in: -

    •Implementing Cisco ACI, firewalls and Leaf/Spine switching

    •Integrating VMware NSX-V/NSX-T network and security practices within a VMware virtualised environment

    •Developing, maintaining, and supporting networks in NSX-V/NSX-T

    •Monitoring the automation of network deployment and configuration, along with the integration of infrastructure (computer/storage) automation

    •Supporting the operations and maintenance of both Cisco ACI and VMware NSX virtual infrastructure

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:


    •Experience of administering and troubleshooting the following technologies and platforms is essential.

    •Cisco ISR and ASR Routers

    •Expert knowledge Cisco ASA Firewalls and Cisco / Threat Defence

    •SD-WAN

    •VMware
