International HQ Music Production is a busy team creating a broad array of content across linear and digital platforms, including Artist Specials, weekly chart shows, voiceover-led countdowns, regular music magazine shows, stunts and more The Assistant Producer will work across various productions at once, leading some and assisting producers on others with research, scripting, studio work, edit producing, programme delivery, paperwork and any other tasks required to assist the successful delivery of a large Music Slate.


What will you be doing?

  • Scriptwriting for both voiceover and invision music and presenting talent
  • Researching music artists and broader cultural events
  • Constant generation of ideas that work for talent, viewers, and the brand
  • Assisting on shoots in studio and on location
  • Producing voiceover and invision talent
  • Overseeing edits with an editor
  • Delivery of programmes for broadcast
  • Completion of delivery paperwork and music cue sheets

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent knowledge of and love for all genres of music and popular culture
  • Tenacious research skills
  • Immaculate attention to detail, especially in edit
  • Excellent scriptwriting skills, in a voice that fits the audience and brand
  • Creative thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Editproducing
  • Technical knowledge of cameras and lighting a plus but not essential
  • Ability and confidence to work alone as well as being a great team player
  • Ability to communicate with talent
