- Complete formulation development for oral solid dosage forms, and aspects of physical testing associated with these activities would be desirable.
- Conduct Design of Experiment work in line with formulation optimisation would be preferred.
- Operate small scale equipment, to follow instructions closely and record observations will be expected.
- Support physical characterisation of prepared formulation
- Support scheduling and planning experimental work
- Support data analysis of data generated (e.g. to compare formulations and look for trends in performance).
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Chemical engineering, Drug design and development, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field, ideally with aspects of pharmaceutical development).
- A fundamental understanding of how to develop and manufacture a range of standard oral solid dosage formulations.
- Foundational practical and relevant analytical skills are required.
- Structured approach to investigating problems to resolution.
- Ability to organise, Schedule and Plan work with efficiency and compliance.
- Proven ability to comply with safety and compliance needs and work flexibly.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues driving collaboration.
- Experience of delivering process improvement would be desirable.
