    Description

    Neo Recruitment is assisting in the search for a HDS Technician for our client, one of the leading global providers of independent offshore and onshore survey solutions.

    Their services encompass a wide range of surveying, positioning, and data management offerings, leveraging state-of-the-art equipment and methodologies.


    Based at our Client's Livingston site, the HDS Technician will provide professional HDS support to the Data Centre, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.

    The role involves performing all necessary duties of an HDS Technician and, post-training, mastering onshore remote processing of offshore data services as required.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Provide support to the Data Centre as needed.
    • Analyse and map data from various surveying projects with precision and accuracy.
    • Conduct onshore remote processing of offshore data when necessary.
    • Maintain uptodate internal project documentation, reflecting a professional company image.
    • Keep records and spreadsheets current.
    • Adhere to Company Health & Safety standards.
    • Comply with company ISO standards and procedures.
    • Occasional duty at locations beyond the office.
    • Provide occasional support to other business units as required.
    • Receive crosstraining for onshore remote services.

    Requirements:

    • Ideally possess a degree in a relevant field.
    • Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD.
    • Strong mathematical and technical skills for accurate data recording.
    • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
    • Familiarity with HDS software like Cyclone Register 360, Cyclone Core, Recap, and Aveva Point Cloud Manager.
    • Team player with a positive attitude and effective collaboration skills.
    • Essential proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and precision in tasks.
    • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
    • Hold a valid passport allowing unrestricted travel to countries where the Company operates routinely.
