Civil Engineer (Oil & Gas) - Leicestershire
This client are a dynamic company that provides Engineering Consultancy and Design Services to organisations in the energy sector.

They are passionate and committed to the learning and development of their people, making sure they have the right skills andknowledge to be successful and to help achieve their potential.


As a Civil Engineer you will be required to undertake a design role on high pressure pipeline and plant systems, working to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by clients.

You will be enthusiastic about the work you produce,leading by example with good attention to detail.

You will have the ability to learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will also have awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmentalprocedures relating to design and construction activities.


Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within oil and gas or similar utilities industries, familiar with Eurocodes and having gained at least a 2:1 (Upper Second-Class honours) in a Civil Engineering degree accredited by the ICE orIStructE.You will have obtained or be working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.


Tasks will include production of civil design calculations from first principals and using calculation software packages, interpretation of geotechnical information, reinforcement design and engineering drawings using CAD packages.
