We are pleased to offer opportunities to join both the Development Plans and the Digital Planning teams at the City of London. It is an exciting time for both teams. The Policy team is gearing up for the submission of the City Plan and we have received government funding to help advance our digital planning programmes. We are looking to appoint a Planning Officer to help us progress the City of London's City Plan 2040 and a Research Assistant within the Digital Planning team.

The City Corporation is in its final stages of preparation of its new City Plan to 2040. This is an exciting time to join the Development Plans Team as you will be able to take part in the examination in public and the processes towards adoption of the City Plan, but also other work associated within the implementation of the City Plan. Other new and exciting workstreams being undertaken by the team include the cultural planning framework, SPD/Planning Advice Note preparation and working with the Monitoring and Information team on digital plans and automation of reporting processes. Therefore we are seeking individuals who are keen to develop and promote new best practices in policy preparation and monitoring.

Please note that this role is most suitable for someone with post-qualification planning experience in either the public or private sector.
