Stark Carpet's Head Office is in New York, with showrooms in all major design centres across the USA.

Our London showroom has enjoyed successful growth and is now also managing our expansion in Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside our export director as part of a dynamic and committed team based in the stunning Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, in London, with frequent travels to France, Switzerland, and South Europe.

_Responsibilities and Accountabilities_

Sales Management Assistance and Administration Duties:

  • Essential sales support to Export Director to boost sales and develop a growth strategy by helping in maintaining key accounts and identifying new opportunities
  • Maintaining client relationship and high level of client satisfaction when export director is on annual leave.
  • Being in contact with mills throughout Europe and the rest of the world
  • USA, India, China, Denmark, Spain etc and checking stock and prices with these mills
  • Preparing costs, composing estimates and creating proforma Invoices
  • Composing Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for sales related tasks
  • Checking and reserving stock from inventory and maintaining reserves
  • Processing orders
  • Making travel arrangements where needed
  • Plan, coordinate and manage events
  • Interacting with customers on social media, developing new social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Adhoc duties

Logistics:

  • Liaising and communicating with customers about the status of their order
  • Maintaining order schedules, tracking and highlighting changes in order to ensure timely delivery
  • Interacting with both internal and external suppliers related to deliveries and installations
  • Managing and overseeing administrative processes as instructed by the supervisor
  • Liaising with the logistic manager and the transporters to plan and organize shipments
  • Liaising with the logistic manager to maintain accurate and updated records of orders, suppliers, and customers

_Skills and Requirements_

  • Wellpresented and excellent written/spoken English and French REQUIRED. Any other language is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
