    Description
    Production Supervisor

    Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of NI's leading global employers for the recruitment of a Production Supervisor.

    Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for ensuring your team meet production targets in an efficient manner.

    Controlling and managing the day-to-day production levels on the shop floor, to ensure that the targets are achieved.
    Ensure that the highest quality of product is maintained.
    Attend and organise the daily and weekly production meetings.

    Manage the manufacturing team in terms of labour, work instruction, attendance management and any disciplinary and grievance issues that may arise.

    Ensure the line is run in accordance with lean manufacturing practices and principals.
    Ensure compliance to all general site rules, regulations, and policies.
    Significant production experience gained within manufacturing environment.
    Experience of managing a team of production operatives
    An understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
