    1st Line Desktop Support Analyst – City of London - £25,000 - £33,000

    Harrington Starr have a 1st Line Desktop Support Analyst opportunity for a Leading Exchange client operating in over 15 European Markets, based in Central London.

    Our client possesses market-leading technology and innovative rules for trading which has seen them make waves in the industry. Due to further expansion their tight knit Support team requires additional headcount.

    Please note this role will require a minimum of 4 days a week onsite.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • 1st line desktop, voice and remote access support across offices and remote users.
    • Setup new IT equipment for users, including laptops, desktops, telephony, and mobile phones.
    • Managing users and groups within Active Directory.
    • Responsible for implementing approved procedures (change control, joiners/leavers, etc.)
    • Support and maintain Microsoft Teams AV equipment (Yealink).
    • Prepare and maintain up to date documentation.
    • Manage relationships and work with vendors to escalate issues when appropriate.

    Required Skills/Experience

    • At least 1 years' experience in an IT Support / Desktop Analyst or similar role, however an IT literate candidate with a strong interest in pursuing a career in IT will also be considered.
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues with Windows 10 /11 and Microsoft Office365 including desktop office applications word/excel, etc.
    • Excellent communication skills are a must.
    • Managing users and groups within Active Directory.
    • Installing new software and hardware (laptops, printers, workstations, etc.).
    • Troubleshooting basic VPN, and networking issues.
    • Working knowledge of MDM (mobile device management) software desirable.
    • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks within a dynamic environment.
