Come and join our integrated Community therapy team located in the centre of Richmond Borough.


We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to come work with children and young people with physical needs.

This assistant post provides excellent opportunities for a new or experienced therapy assistant to develop their clinical and professional skills within the community setting.


You will be based in Ham clinic with a team of Paediatric Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Speech and language therapists and Community Paediatricians.

You will also work across Special Schools where you will work alongside education staff with your supervising physiotherapist. You will be carrying out physiotherapy programmes, providing hydrotherapy sessions and running many groups. You will contribute to the development of the service within both settings.


Your role is essential to the administration and running of the service; for example organising groups, managing waiting lists, communicating with health care professionals and parents and coordinating room bookings and clinics.


The physiotherapy team provides services to children aged 0-19 years with neuro-developmental, musculo-skeletal and developmental co-ordination disorders in pre-school, mainstream and special education settings.
