VOCON Traffic Management is a privately owned company with 25+ years combined Traffic Management experience in installation, design and planning are committed to providing customers, employees and the public a safe work zone while maintaining an efficient flow of traffic on the public highway.

VOCON Traffic Management has established its operational depot and back office support team strategically located just 5 minutes from to J25 of the M1 near Derby our Yorkshire depot based in Sheffield.

The Role / Opportunity

Key aspect of the job will involve:

Dealing with inbound customer enquiries and job requests.
Coordinating planned and reactive Traffic Management requests, efficiently and effectively.
Creating Job packs and allocating to our team of field engineers and traffic management crews
Provide Quotations for job requests on an Adhoc basis
Engaging with clients in a positive manner.
Being proactive in driving business sale
General Back office Business support, ensuring our customers get a great customer experience
Administrator to support the depot operations.
Weekly Time Sheets collation and validation
Administrating daily On and Off hires using our bespoke BMS system.
Dealing with Highways & Councils, gaining permit to work on the highway.
Supporting the Management team in other areas as required to ensure we meet our customer requirements.

The Person (PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES - YOU SHOULD BE):

Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be advantageous but not essential.
Who enjoys planning and organising and working in a busy but friendly team environment.
Pleasant nature and Great communicator with external customers both written and verbal
Conformable working as a part of a small back office team
Flexible approach to work
Proactive / think on their feet
Good knowledge of IT
Microsoft Office
Excel Spread sheets, Mobile Apps & Works Mgt Systems.
Comfortable producing customer and management reports from our systems, exporting and analysing data

The package

Location: S9 5PH, Coleford Road Darnall Sheffield.
Hours Full time (07:305pm)
Salary: £22k to £28k
Subject to experience
