Description

Senior Events Officer (Bespoke and Challenge), an excellent opportunity to join a London Hospice, based in South East London. Offering Hybrid working; 3 days office based, 2 days working from home.

As the Senior Event Fundraiser, joining the Community and Events Team, working with the Senior Fundraising Manager and Challenge Events Fundraiser, you will lead on and deliver a programme of bespoke events from concept to completion.

The events range from mass participation walks, overseas challenges, other bespoke Challenge events, food festivals, Christmas events. Working closely with the Senior Events Manager, and supported by the team, you will;

Support the development and delivery of the events strategy and grow the events programme, recruiting and supporting participants in organised events and introducing new initiatives, offering opportunities for engagement and fundraising across the calendar year.
Develop a strong stewardship programme for event supporters to enhance their experience.
Produce and maintain event management plans; risk assessments, health and safety evaluations to ensure that the event adheres to legal requirements
Liaise with external contractors and organisations ie council, police, production companies and suppliers to ensure that all legal requirements are met.
Budget management, ensuring income and expenditure meets set financial targets

We are looking for you to have experience in Event Fundraising, and ideally managing bespoke events. A track record of marketing and delivering successful in-person events. Using data and insight to drive your decisions, with a clear focus on optimising delivery at every opportunity. Experience of developing new fundraising products and building a programme of engagement to grow fundraising income.
