Join Our Growing Direct Labour Team as a Fibre Cabler at Lanes -I

We're currently seeking an experienced Fibre Cabler to join our team and work on our Box Project in Dorking & Byfleet.
About the role:
As a Fibre Cabler, your primary responsibility will be to carry out testing, rod and rope operations, and cable installation for both underground and overhead infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Testing, rod and rope operations
- Proving the PIA network
- Pulling in sub duct and cable in PIA and Swish networks, both underground and overhead
- Locating blockages and updating the necessary systems accordingly
- Producing A55s in consultation with the main Surveyor
- Ensuring completion and submission of all required documentation
- Experience in Test Rod & Roping and cabling within the Openreach network
- Proficiency in working with PIA networks
- Ability to install cables and sub ducts, both underground and overhead
- Competence in installing fibre nodes, both underground and overhead
- Skill in locating blockages and establishing clear routes
- Capability to produce A55s in consultation with the main Surveyor
- Thoroughness in completing and submitting all necessary documentation
Requirements:
- SA001, SA001A, SA002, S5, S8, S9 certifications
- Prior cabling experience
- Full UK driver's license with fewer than 6 penalty points
- NSWRA ticket

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
