Senior Electrical Engineer, with expertise in design phases on industrial projects?

Our client is an engineering firm who has made a commitment to support the energy transition and is rapidly expanding their capabilities within the low carbon and energy Transition sectors.

This will be working on Mining, Mineral processing and Battery Materialsprojects,
as Senior (Principal) Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in early-stage concept and feasibility through to delivering full EPC and EPCM packages.

You will be responsible for:

Management of production of all necessary Electrical documentation.
Manage teams of engineers/designers and complete checking of all deliverables.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Checking and approval of documentation as required
Attendance at Client meetings and meetings at potential vendor premises
Effectively manage the EI&C project work scope
Initiate and maintain EI&C policy document and procedure, templates etc
Manage the Electrical aspect of complex packages and complete detailed design.
Manage package vendors electrical technical submissions (Electrical and Mechanical).
Medium Voltage Switchgear design experience (Advantageous)
Low Voltage switchgear experience and approval of vendor schematics
Earthing design experience
Completing equipment FAT's
UPS, L & SP, emergency generator package management experience.

You will have:

Knowledge of COMOS packages and 3D Model Execution would be an advantage.
15 to 20 years (10 to 15 years) relevant experience
Previous experience on mineral processing plants would be beneficial
A working knowledge of 3D Modelling, in particular E3D.
Knowledge of Amtech and ETAP software packages.
Team leadership capability, excellent technical skills, commercial awareness are essential.
