Description:
**A leading university is seeking an assessments officer


The specific Responsibilities**:

***- To provide comprehensive information to stakeholders with regard to all aspects of assessments, responding in a timely and professional manner to enquiries and demonstrating an in-depth understanding of assessment regulations.

  • To ensure timely and accurate student examination and assessment enrolment.
  • To liaise with and provide information and results to the appropriate regulatory bodies.
  • To coordinate with actors, invigilators and tutors to ensure smooth running of assessments
  • To ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the student records system.
***- To order and audit examination materials and assist in the accurate delivery of these to all internal and external examination venues and to represent the University at these venues.

  • To finalise and distribute assessment schedules and materials.
  • To coordinate the final checking process.
  • To work closely with the Exam Logistics team and scheduling officers to ensure the smooth running of examinations.
***- To co-ordinate marking operations within the Assessment Office.

  • To work closely with Programme and Student Leads.
  • To assist other Assessment Officers, Senior Assessment Officers and the Assessments Office Manager if needed.
  • To promote and sustain a constructive, supportive and friendly working relationship with all customers, external and internal, immediate and senior management and other work colleagues.
***- To actively take responsibility for your own personal career development in all respects.

  • Through active networking and research, to develop an awareness and knowledge of the legal education market.


In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the job holder may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Assessment Officer, Head of Assessments and Head of Operations from time to time.
