    What you become a part of:

    This commercially-focused finance role is aligned to specific trading environments within CCEP GB, and will act as the finance co-pilot to one of CCEP's sector-leading commercial teams; providing financial insight and analysis support on both a structured and ad hoc basis. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and be an effective business partner. The role works alongside the Senior Finance Manager, to support their environments in the making of profitable decisions that are supported by fact-based evaluations.

    This is a commercial role working with the Commercial teams which should be a key motivating factor. Being a Finance Analyst enables you to gain experience in many areas of CCEP and makes you feel that the work you are doing has a real impact on business decisions. Additionally, the Business Analysis team as a whole is a great place to learn about new things as every person knows something different or has a different perspective on the same subject.

    What to expect

    • As the key business partner to the sales team your skills in relationship building will be vital to the work you do and the level of your involvement. As you navigate your way through important customer decisions being able to leverage those relationships will dictate how you will be able to influence the final outcome. No day is ever the same and you could be helping an account manager with understanding what a change to their promotional plan means to our total P&L or be presenting to senior leadership on ways to mitigate a profit gap. In addition to this our normal monthly & annual routines will mean you will add key insights to our month end close and be able to lead how we construct our annual business plan.
    • This role will also give you significant exposure to other areas of commercial finance be it our marketing or our supply chain teams, collaboration is something we do well. And if that wasn't enough we have the Centre of Excellence (our shared service centre) who will support you in any of your endeavours through a reporting masterclass. It will also be part of your responsibility to coach and develop key contacts within the business to improve understanding and capability in the use of CCEP financial systems, in this regard, you will support the Commercial Teams in the use of reporting and forecasting tools and help them become as self-sufficient as possible.
    • In this role you will co-ordinate the analysis of monthly volume, revenue and gross profit performance, support the Commercial Teams with their volume and GP projections, whilst identifying the underlying performance insights behind performance trends and proactively seeking to influence these.You will also be responsible for assisting in the co-ordination and preparation of the annual business plan, by liaising with the Commercial Sales teams to deliver volume and GP targets.
    • Next to this you will also review environment, pack, customer and brand statements on a period basis by reporting on the account and environment performance. You will evaluate and make recommendations on significant business proposals and activities, analyse effectiveness of promotions, customer investments and support customer revenue and pricing discussions.
    • It will also be part of your responsibility to coach and develop key contacts within the business to improve understanding and capability in the use of CCEP financial systems, in this regard, you will support the Commercial Teams in the use of reporting and forecasting tools and help them become as self-sufficient as possible.

    What we expect of you:

    • Previous work experience in a commercial finance environment, with exposure to the analysis of revenue and its component parts.
    • Part or fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
