I'm looking for a Networks and Systems Engineer to join a Gloucestershire based tech company who provide a range of public sector clients with research, tech and products surrounding cyber and comms security.

Due to the nature of the project work you'll needto be eligible for SC/DV Clearance.
What you'll be doing

You'll be joining a team responsible for designing, building and implementing world leading solutions as well as providing support to Operations teams in emergency situations.

You'll be working on end-to-end remote and mobile secure communications systems,troubleshooting complex environments, testing and assessing technologies to enhance the security or capability of the environment and creating, verifying and maintaining documentation.

You'll also need to liaise with stakeholders and support the training andmentoring of junior staff.

What skills you'll need:

Demonstrable experience in Network/Gateway environments.
Knowledge of the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and securing networks based on requirements.
Proficiency with network technologies (data and voice): BGP, MPLS/VPLS, SIP, TLS, Network Management.
Experience with server and virtualisation technologies: vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, Docker, Linux, Ansible.
An understanding of cryptographic technologies.
Proven leadership skills.
Technical aptitude to pick up and understand new technologies.
