    THE SEARCH:


    Altus Partners has been retained by a high-growth, international financial and advisory services business to lead and build-out their newly created FP&A function as Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

    As a lead for the global FP&A function, you will be at the helm of the financial strategy at C-1 level with a hands-on approach to building out the commercial finance team.

    This is a chance to make a real impact, become part of the MIP, drive change and transformation, work alongside a talented team of finance business partners and directly support a highly experienced global CFO.This role will suit a Director/Head of FP&A/Head of Commercial Finance level candidate who has previously set up a commercial finance function or led an FP&A team in a growth journey with transformation expertise.

    You will ideally have a practice background or highly commercial experience in a mid-large cap business, including FP&A, modelling and multiple jurisdictions.


    THE ROLE:


    Support the global CFO on all commercial decision making, offering insightful analysis and assessing the implications of various strategic decisions.

    Development of the Group longer term strategic plans, including input to the group's 5-year strategic plan, with appropriate financial forecasting Presenting insightful MI, analysis and financial information to the global CFO and investors.

    Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
    Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. Develop comprehensive financial forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support strategic decision-making.
    Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining accuracy and transparency in financial disclosures.

    Development and preparation of board papers including variance analysis and commentary, including KPI's and additional analysis for executivesDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting.

    Management of short-term reforecasting and ad hoc requests such as financial planning for large projects and M&A Oversee financial modeling, investment analysis, and due diligence activities for potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

    Management and recruitment of an FP&A team.
