    We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier products to our clients.

    Position Overview As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous inspection processes.

    You will be responsible for ensuring that all components meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements, particularly in the defence sector where precision and reliability are paramount.

    This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in utilizing precision measurement tools.

    Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough inspections of small machine parts, mechanical tooling, and precision measurement tools to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

    Utilise various inspection techniques and precision measurement tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to tolerances.

    Perform visual inspections to identify defects, irregularities, or deviations from quality standards.
    Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare comprehensive inspection reports.
    Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of defects.
    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and optimise efficiency.
    RequirementsMust be a UK national and will need to pass security vetting upon employment. Ideally apprentice trained in a precision engineering environment.
    ONC in Manufacturing, City & Guilds in Mechanical/ Production Engineering are also desirable. Solid mechanical and production experience, preferably in an industry with high-quality standards.
    Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
    Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques, methods, and tools.
    Experience in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
    Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or irregularities accurately.
    Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    Quality inspection qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
