**PTP Accounts Payable Associate
Fixed Term Contract 8 months**
Bolton


The PTP Accounst Payable Associate role is key to minimising risk around the AP Ledger and P&L and reports into the PTP Account Management Team Lead.


The associate will be responsible for the full reconciliation and resolution of a portfolio of supplier accounts as defined within the Supplier Statement Reconciliation policy.


As PTP Accounts Payable Associate, you will take ownership & co-ordinate the resolution of issues via the supplier statement reconciliation and account management process via Jira.


The associate will be responsible for daily incoming queries from suppliers and the Finance Community within the company in line with the internal Service Level Agreements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Fully reconcile and cleanse accounts as per the Supplier Statement Rec (SSR) Policy
  • Take ownership of assigned supplier accounts
  • Reeducate Internal/external stakeholders on Invoice compliance to drive Right First-Time invoice submission across multiple sub systems
  • Work with Procurement to reeducate the Business Users to drive adherence to best practice
  • Drive timely resolution with root cause to deliver to Prompt payment code (PPC)
  • Participate as required as a team member in other special projects
  • To carry out any other adhoc duties, as and when required

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications

  • Good general secondary education or equivalent
  • Accounts Payable / Procure to Pay experience is essential
  • Proven experience of query resolution
  • Detailed knowledge across Procure to Pay processes (ie, 3way match)
  • Experience in a similar role within a multisite business is desirable
  • Prior experience of working within a Finance Shared Service Centre is preferable but not mandatory
  • Experience of working within Jira or similar ticketing systems would be advantageous but not essential
  • A selfstarter with a strong ethos in Customer focussed outcomes
  • Uses data to generate, evaluate and act on options and opportunities for Issue resolution
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders
