The Role:

The Procurement Manager will be champion of the supply chain and will start and end with their ability to deliver the best possible commercial terms for the business.

This will include being responsible for ensuring the infrastructure, assets and operationsof the organisation and having the right equipment, services and support whilst driving continued value from the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

Developing and gatekeeping a sound purchasing strategy, you will ensure the organisation and its' team members adhere to best practices.
Building excellent relationships with an expertly procured supplier network, you will deliver value to all end users; not just in terms of cost but also in terms of service and quality.
Understand the brand standards for all products and services and ensure our supply chain delivers those standards
Remain abreast at all times of the most recent innovations for improving service delivery for our customers
Ensure every stakeholder fully understands the role of the Procurement Manager and what they can and can't do with existing and future suppliers
Ensure every stakeholder understands onboarding processes, the time scales involved and the impact of disregarding best practices
Ensure that all contracts are negotiated in a timely fashion to ensure preferable rates are being secured
Produce reports on a monthly basis on the cost efficiencies delivered through a wellmanaged supply chain.
Seek new and innovative ways of improving service delivery through new suppliers and technology
Analyse current usage of all goods and services across the business and deliver improvements through new relationships and or contracts.

Essential Skills/Qualities:

Managed a preferred supplier list for a multisite residential property business
Experience working to a strict compliance framework for selection, due diligence and onboarding of a supply chain
Creating and managing financial and management reports
Experience in line management
