Why our role?

Partnering with our Product and Tech Teams, this role will see you utilising your stakeholder management and influencing skills to build relationships, understand Tech & Product goals and support the teams in their delivery.

Utilising your finance and business knowledge, you will be able interpret ambiguous data and metrics, to demonstrate the achievements and progress made by the teams.


Contributing directly to the products our customers see, you will use your strategic thinking abilities to design and implement the reporting tools used to monitor the teams performance.

What will your daily life look like?
Partner with the teams to develop a key understanding of what the teams are looking to deliver
Act as key liaison between stakeholders and rest of finance team - ensuring plans and benefits are fed into appropriate monthly/ quarterly outputs
Monthly reporting/ regular modelling for multiple business areas
Support the development of business cases and PIR's for key project and critical initiatives across the group (including regular refreshes and benefits tracking process)

Budgeting/ quarterly forecasts -Provide inputs to the FBPs on the impact of product and CRM/ customer proposition delivery into channels.

Review costs for Tech/ Product (including payroll) and feed in appropriate changes/ risks/ opps.
Own capital monthly and quarterly processes, working closely with transactional finance to ensure costs and balance sheet are accurate and well understood including


We want to hear from you if:
You have shown success operating within a demanding, fast paced digital business, ideally with Tech and Product Teams
You are ACCA, CIMA or CA/ACA qualified
You are able to explore and analyse detail performance data to find the key trends driving trading performance without getting lost in detail or complexity
You are to identify key commercial levers and influence commercial solutions at both senior financial and non-financial stakeholder levels
Demonstrable experience of supporting business cases with workable financial insight
Naturally create strong working relationships as a trusted advisor, able to challenge and develop thinking
Proven success challenging the business on complex, data driven decisions
Commercially astute with the ability to identify, understand and mitigate risks
Ability to deal with ambiguity
